About the FoundeR

Building Inclusive Spaces Where Every Ability Grows

My name is Danielle McGowan. I am originally from North Carolina and have lived in Atlanta for the past 15 years. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from North Carolina Central University and later completed an advanced Master of Education in Speech Sciences. I am a licensed speech-language pathologist with over 15 years of experience serving children across a wide range of settings, including home health, rehabilitation centers, private practice, and public schools. I have worked with students from preschool through high school and currently practice in a middle school setting.

As the founder of Bloom, LLC and the director of Camp Full Bloom, I established an organization grounded in inclusion, access, and community-centered care. Bloom was created to address the need for safe, supportive environments where children with diverse abilities can develop communication, social, and functional life skills while families receive meaningful guidance and support.

My mission is to leverage evidence-based practices, professional expertise, and a deep commitment to equity to create programs that foster growth, confidence, and independence. Through Bloom and Camp Full Bloom, I am dedicated to expanding opportunities for children with diverse abilities and strengthening families by building spaces where every individual is empowered to reach their full potential.
